Welcome to
Calvary Baptist Church
about Our Church
Our church is a friendly church. From the time you walk in the door you will be greeted by our ushers. As you make your way into our auditorium you will notice that we truly love each other. You will see several people talking, laughing, and enjoying themselves. We love to have fun, but when it comes to the service we take it seriously. We have a true heart and a desire to serve the Lord. We believe in salvation by grace through faith!

The Bible clearly tells us this through all of Scripture. In Romans 3:10 it says, "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:" From this passage we understand that no one is perfect. We all have done something wrong at some point in our life. Secondly, we realize that there is a price for sin in Romans 6:23a it says, "For the wages of sin is death;" This verse is not just talking about a physical death, although that is a punishment. It is talking about a spiritual death. In Revelation 20:14 it says, "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death." These two verses show us that we deserve to spend an eternity in hell, but luckily that is not where it all ends. if we look at the second half of Romans 6:23 it says, "but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for our sins so we could have the opportunity to spend an eternity with Him in heaven. It is a free gift, all you have to do is receive it. In Romans 10:13 it says, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." It is truly as simple as praying and asking Him to come into your heart. It is not the words that you say that will get you to heaven, it is meaning it in your heart and putting your complete faith and trust in God alone to take you to heaven! If you accepted Christ after reading this or if you have any questions, please contact us and let us know.
