We are not worthy.
Romans 3:10 says, “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:” It is easy to understand that we are not perfect. We have all sinned against a holy and righteous God. The Bible also says this in Romans 3:23, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” These two verses show us that we are undeserving of a perfect place called Heaven. Our sin causes us to fall short.
02
A price must be paid.
The first part of Romans 6:23 tells us, “For the wages of sin is death;" and Revelation 20:14 says, “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.” We learn from these passages that the price to be paid is death, but it is much more than a physical death... it is a spiritual one. Where we spend an eternity separated from God, but fortunately, that's not the end of the story!

03
Jesus Christ died for you and me.
In Romans 5:8 the Bible says, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." In 2 Peter 3:9 it says, "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." God sent His only begotten Son to die for me and you! It is simple, we must repent of our sins and accept His free gift of salvation so we can spend an eternity in Heaven. The second part of Romans 6:23 shows us this, "but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
04
Turn to the Savior and Accept Him.
1 John 1:9 says, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” and in Acts 3:19 it says, "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out..." It isn't complicated, it isn't about how much right or wrong you have done, it is simply about turning away from your sin, turning to Christ, asking for His forgiveness, and for Him to take you to Heaven one day. Will you accept His free gift?
You could pray a prayer similar to this, knowing that it is not these words that will save you, but you meaning them and having true repentance:
"Dear Jesus, Thank you for dying on the cross for me. I know I am a sinner. Please forgive me from my sin and help me to walk in your ways and do what you would have me to do. Please take me to Heaven when I die. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
Did you accept the Savior? If you did, please take the time to fill out the contact form below and tell us about it! We would love to rejoice with you and be able to connect with you.
