Is Jesus Welcome Home in Your Heart?
Have you accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior? Can you remember a time where you repented of your sins and asked for forgiveness from an Almighty God? It is something that is simple, but so many people make it seem confusing. Let's take a look at what the Bible has to say about this thing called salvation.

-
The Lord wants you to be saved:
-
We all have sinned against an Almighty, Perfect God:
-
Isaiah 64:6 - But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
-
Romans 3:10 - As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
-
Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
-
-
We deserve to go to a literal hell because of this sin:
-
Romans 6:23a - For the wages of sin is death;
-
Revelation 20:14 - And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
-
-
Jesus Christ paid the debt:
-
John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
-
Romans 6:23b - but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
-
Romans 5:8 - But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
-
-
We need to repent of our sins, we must turn to the Savior:
-
Acts 3:19 - Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
-
-
It is as simple as repent and trust in Jesus completely:
-
Romans 10:9-10 - That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
-
Romans 10:13 - For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
-
-
Pray and receive Him:
-
You could pray a prayer like this, know that it is not these words that get you to heaven. It is you meaning it with all your heart, repenting of your sins, and trusting Christ to save you.
-
"Dear Jesus, Please save me from my sins and the punishment of my sins. I am sorry for sinning against you. I promise from this day forward I will do my best to live for you. Thank you for dying on the cross so I can have a way to heaven. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
-
