JESUS

Jesus is the only begotten Son of God. He is the only person to ever be born of a virgin. He became the Son of man so that men could become the children of God. His conception was by the Holy Spirit; thus He is the Son of God and the Son of man.

During his short life as a man on earth, He lived a very modest life. he lacked wealth and prosperity and was unknown outside of His home town of Nazareth. He was born in a stable, rode a borrowed ass, and was buried in another man's grave.

There has never been anyone like Jesus. As a baby He drew the attention of astrologers and a king. As a boy, He surprised religious teachers with His wisdom and knowledge of Scripture. As a man He healed the sick and raised the dead. He walked on the water and calmed the storm. On one occasion, He rebuked the demons, and they obeyed Him, leaving the man they had attacked with a sound mind. He took two fish and fed thousands of people. He suffered and died a cruel death by crucifixion to satisfy the demands of God because of the sin of all people. He was the only human to never sin, yet He was despised, condemned, and sentenced to death.

By His suffering and death, He paid the price for the sins of all who will repent and believe on Him. To believe on him means to believe He died in your place. In death, He provided the blood sacrifice required by God. God also raised Him from the dead. Satan could not stop Him, and the grave could not hold Him. He conquered death and the grave, lives to make intercession, and saves all who come to Him. Only He has the power to forgive sins. One day He will return to the clouds to receive His Bride. (All who have trusted Him for salvation). He will then return to the earth to rule and reign. At that time every knee will bow and every mouth will confess that He is Lord. Many have already confessed that He is Lord, and they now enjoy an unthinkable peace and great joy. Those who have believed on Him have confidence that they will be in Heaven with Him forever. During this life, He is the only one who can give us a content heart. He is the sinless Son of God, who gives eternal life to all who believe on Him and trust Him as Lord and Savior.

God gives us these promises: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." (John 3:16-18)

Would you believe God's Word, the Bible, and now ask God to forgive you for sinning against Him? Tell Him that you believe Jesus Christ died for your sin, providing the blood atonement, and that God bodily raised Him from the dead. Believe this with all your heart and ask Him to save you from your sins and be your Savior.
